A new way to find and block unwanted ads on mobile devices has been announced by Microsoft, which is rolling out an update to its Windows 10 operating system to help users do just that.
The update, dubbed Mobile Ads, is a new way for people to search for and block ads from apps on mobile phones and other devices.
Users will have to set up a search box in Settings, select an app, and then click on the “Block Advertisements” button.
Microsoft has also made it possible to manually block ads that are embedded in YouTube videos and other content, which users can then manually block by adding the app’s URL to the search box.
Microsoft is rolling it out to all devices that support Windows 10, but the update will be rolled out to devices that aren’t supported.
It’s the first time Microsoft has made its own app blocking software available for download.
