A Verizon upgrade program will soon be available to iPhone users, as Verizon has announced that it will upgrade iPhones to the newest iPhone.
In addition to the upgrade program, Verizon is also introducing a special upgrade program for the iPad Pro.
In a statement provided to TechRadar, Verizon Wireless spokesperson Jennifer McQuade confirmed that the company has activated a program called Verizon Upgrade, which will allow iPhone and iPad owners to upgrade their phones to the latest iPhone SE.
The iPhone 6 and 6 Plus are the only devices that will receive the upgrade, and the upgrade will only be available for iPhone 6 or 6 Plus customers.
This means that anyone who purchased an iPhone 5 or 6 in early 2017 will have to wait until at least 2020 for the upgrade.
While there’s no word yet on when the iPhone upgrade will launch, it will likely happen at the end of 2020.
Verizon has also confirmed that it is adding a new feature called Verizon Connection, which enables customers to receive a free upgrade for an iPhone or iPad every three months.
The feature, which is currently in beta, lets customers use the phone to upgrade to a new iPhone with no additional cost.
As we’ve already mentioned, this will be Verizon’s first upgrade program that includes an iPhone upgrade.
While Verizon previously rolled out the iPhone Upgrade program in 2018, Verizon’s new iPhone Upgrade will be the first upgrade that does so.
