Ride-hailing app Cushion has a new partnership with Los Angeles-based skater Søren “Rey” Hansen, the company announced Tuesday.
The new partnership includes a partnership with the popular skate park and amusement park.
Cushion, the largest ride-hail service in the U.S., said Hansen will “accommodate rides in the Skatepark, Skate City, and the new Skyline Park at Cushions new LA Skateparks.”
With the new Skate Park, Rey will be able to experience and work with other Cushioned skaters from around the world to learn how to skate and improve their skills.
Rey will also have the opportunity to share his skills with a new generation of riders.
“Hansen, who is a native of Denmark, will skate in the park’s skatepark.
The park opened in July 2016.
Cushing, S.C.-based Cushio, which launched in 2014, said the partnership with Hansen will provide Cushione with “a global platform for learning and sharing.”
Cushione said the Skaters can come in for a free skate and learn how their skills will be used in the new park.
The company said the agreement is an opportunity to “bring more of our skate community to the Skyline Skate Parks.””
Rey Hansen will be a great addition to the Skateshop family, providing the opportunity for Cushiolation to create a global platform to teach new skaters how to be great at skateboarding,” Cushios CEO and President Matt Coughlin said in a statement.
